Elaine Jones is a contemporary British artist whose work is inspired by her extensive travels. Her paintings express the serene and ethereal qualities of nature, which she finds in some of the remotest parts of the world, from the jungles of central America to the glaciers of the Arctic. Her compositions allude to real places but are also organic abstractions of form, colour and light.
